
Health Minister, NAHSAG leaders, and other government officials commiserate with NAHSAG patron
HEALTH MINISTER,NAHSAG LEADERS, AND OTHER GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS COMMISERATE WITH NAHSAG PATRON
The leadership of the National Health Students Association of Ghana (NAHSAG) on Saturday joined the Honourable Health Minister, Kwabena Mintah Akandoh, and other prominent figures to commiserate with the patron and founding father of NAHSAG, Hon. Dr. Nana Ayew Afriye. The delegation, led by H.E. Erneet Agyare comprised bloc heads, past executives, and some NEO members, joined well-wishers to bid farewell to the patron’s late mother at Effiduase Asokore in the Ashanti Region.
After the burial ceremony, the delegation, together with the patron, discussed the welfare of health trainees with the Honourable Health Minister at the patron’s residence. Key topics included establishing robust mental health departments in institutions and the association’s roadmap to assist in the fight against substance abuse within the country.
The leadership also briefed the minister on past activities and upcoming events before the current administration’s tenure ends.
